My Power Training Stats

This is where you can get regular updates on my training using power. I will update several charts that show how much training I am doing, the quality of the training, and my overall fitness.

My Current PMC

As of November 9, 2008 my CTL (Cumulative Training Load) is sitting at 59 and my TSB is at a positive 11.  I am coming off of a lot of training in the last few months and have taken some “time off” in the last few weeks so my CTL has dropped and TSB risen. I just started indoor workouts due to daylight savings time going away so my weekly training will drop a bit in terms of total time but I plan on making up for that by doing a lot more time in the “sweet spot” of 240-270 watts which will build aerobic capacity over the winter.

My TSS by Week

I am getting back into the swing of training. This week my TSS was 368, the highest it has been in the last four weeks. My guess is that over the next few months it should be between 350 and 400 each week. It will be hard to get it much higher than that just because I am not willing to ride that much on the trainer during the week and I keep Winter road rides under 3 hours most of the time. If I keep my training plan working I will enter the Spring in good shape and ready to increase the weekly workload pretty quickly.
